A Special Place in My Heart
I'm Ramba and I live in Wilson Garden now. But I came here today, and I'm so happy to be back in Malleswaram. This place holds a special place in my heart.
"Rama-Rama-Rama"
My grandmother and the rest of my family lived here, and I used to visit often as a child. I still remember, after six in the evening, she would give me a bit of money and ask me to go buy something. But I was scared—it was so full of trees back then, and I would say, "No, there are ghosts! I won't go!"
She would smile and tell me, "Close your eyes, say 'Rama-Rama-Rama,' and go, nothing will happen." So I would go, eyes wide open but chanting anyway, and bring back those little things—just small errands, but such big memories now.
Playing Among the Trees
We used to play so freely here, among the trees and the open spaces. It was such a lovely time. I've always had a soft corner for Malleswaram, even though I live in Wilson Garden.
Coming Home Again
But life has a funny way of bringing things full circle—my daughter got married and moved to Malleswaram, and so I came to her house. It feels like coming home. I'm very happy.
