India's First Medical Distributor

My name is Suresh, and I am the owner of Pushyamee Medicals. This shop has been running for 22 years. I have 42 years of experience in the medical business. Our company has been the first medical distributor of India since 1945. We came to this area in 1980, and I started this shop in 2006.

Bungalows Becoming Apartments

I have not seen many changes in this area. Most changes are older bungalows becoming apartments. The number of people has also increased, and traffic too, but it affects the main road more than it does this side where we are located.

New Faces Daily, Regular Customers Less Common

The shop has been running the same way since we started. Some customers are regular older ones, but there are many newer ones as well. I see new faces daily, and seeing regular customers has become less common. Customers only go to places where they will benefit from. Covid has affected the business a lot, and the number of customers has become less.

Duplicate Medicines Being Sold Online

We don't have any tie-ups with online platforms because there are so many duplicate medicines being sold online. We would never do it because we would be responsible in case of an issue with fake medicines. We do home delivery as well, but we encourage customers to come to our shop and buy. This helps us maintain connection with customers who visit. In the medical business, trust is very important. When customers come to the shop, they can see what they are buying and we can explain things properly. This is better than online shopping where you cannot be sure what you are getting.
